Since 1985, "Sherlock's" has been one of Edmonton's most popular gathering establishments, boasting an authentic taste of the good old times. Whether you stop by for a drink with a friend, have a bite before a movie or enjoy our live music, Name That Tune or Karaoke, The Sherlock Holmes Pubs have something for everyone!

Offering some of Edmonton's first stand-up bars, several varieties of imported and domestic beer, fine pub fare, and nightly, interactive entertainment (all in a cozy British pub setting), The Sherlock Holmes Pubs are frequented by locals and tourist alike. Our Rice Howard Way location is a frequent stop for professional musicians, sports figures and Who's Who in the media!

After 28 years, we finally took down all the money from the walls/bar of The Sherlock Holmes Pub on Bourbon Street and donated it to Ovarian Cancer Research at the Cross Cancer Clinic benefitting the Alberta Cancer Foundation (whew!). Total amount = $7150! THANK YOU EDMONTON! We have now pledged that all money will be donated to the AFC on an annual basis and that The Sherlock Holmes Pubs will MATCH that amount.

Congratulations to Dave Gieg, winner of the Devaney's Re-Name the Pub Contest who came up with the name Duggan's Boundary Irish Pub (honouring JJ Duggan, an Irish Canadian pioneer who helped set up the infrastructure of the town of Strathcona). Dave will be jetting off to Boston in 2014 and we'll be re-launching the pub with his name in late August.

Then join us July 10 at The Highlands for the inaugural Sherlock Holmes Charity Golf Tournament in support of Ovarian Cancer Research (it's actually our 26th year but the first as a true charity event). $165 gets you a game at the presitigious course, cart, hot breakfast, steak dinner at The Rose & Crown Pub, silent auction, the odd bevy and a ton of fun.
